  • How to lawfully own a car

Posted by boul-dens on September 10, 2023 at 10:57 pm

Firstly is there anything I can do to make it known i own a car lawfully?

My beloved car that I paid for myself was put under my boyfriends name because I didn’t want creditors filthy hands on it in case of brankruptcy. But he copped some massive fines and now they’re threatening to deregister the car.

But it’s my car not his!

    Any advice?

And moving forward, would putting the car under my 5yo’s name

( with myself designated as a driver) be a safe option to keep the creditors hands off it?

    We’re located in vic.

They own the Original Makers Registration Document/ New Vehicle Identification Statement, which is mimicking the Original Birth Registration that bonds us to the System. They own the Title to control the property and then we register it back from them and wear the liability. We are caught in a trap with the Olde Bait and Switch move once again.

your options are; 1. stay in peace and pay the fines 2. discharge the liability by alternative means eg PN BOE (requires study and practise before application as well as knowing how to hold your position in court), 3. write a three step notice with affidavit creating a new agreement (requires knowing how to competently write these and being able to cope with any offers of court). All require co-operation from the boyfriend as well.
