I had a similar thing as this happen to me at the library in NZ

Wow! Was the cop making things up as he goes and did he say, “New world system we are under”?

It sure sounded like he said that. Cops just seem to blindly obey no matter how crazy and unlawful it gets. We were affronted by 5 cops who were supporting the illegal trespass of us from the library here (in Invercargill) , but they didn’t arrest us as we had already put in notices to the council and had established a private agreement with 15 councillors and if they had arrested us the councillors would have been sent a hefty bill as per our agreement

Good work. So, you did the notices prior going to the library? Had you been threatened before? What did you notice the councillors with if you don’t mind me asking?

We filmed every interaction at the library (this was when the vaccine passport thing was on) and we made conditional acceptances verbally to the staff. They told us they were under orders from the council so we checked out the council meeting where the decision was made about passports and then sent notices to the 15 councillors responsible. The notices were long and in depth using the video recording we had from the library their code of conduct, exceprts fromn the BORA etc etc and asking them pertinent questions. The agreement was (if they assented etc) that each councillor would pay us $70,000 if we were harmed in any way. We also put in a complaint to the Ombudsman and the CEO of the library and a politician (I can’t remember who now). So we went full tilt and just before we completed our third notice they dropped the mandates and their lawyer sent us (and ridiculously, also to our witness to our mailing certificate) a threatening letter. I dispatched with him by sending him a letter within 3 days and then I sent the final notice establishing the agreement. So the agreement now stands.
