Notice to council rates and sa water
I need to write a notice to council and sa water. I settled in court and took ownership of a house in her name
She hadn’t paid bills for months, so now after settlement theyve now sent me these bills which should not belong to me. and they have said too bad i have to pay them.

If they are trying to foot you with the bill then you would be best to do a three step Notice process. Module 9 has lots of examples of three step notices or alternatively the Non consent process on here under the resources button can be used for a template for your own processes with affidavit. This is a private process that creates an equitable estoppel agreement with the other side that can be used in court if necessary.
