NZ Student loan
Posted by jtal on April 2, 2023 at 3:37 pm<div>I live in Australia. In 1995 I opened a student loan (HECS equiv.). I didn’t pay it for many years, with interest building over those years.</div><div>
I need advice regarding how to get rid of it.
Many thanks.

Here’s a letter another member in NZ used and here’s some information about dealing with debt that mentions student loans. I don’t have all the documents that go with this though and I believe this site was sold and now there are fees to pay to get access to the information.

I’ve received a letter from BayCorp. I haven’t paid the loan in over a year. What should be my first action?
