I am having a battel with my employer ATM. They have agreed for me to be a sole trader working for them but I need to supply my ABN. I have given them the “Statement By A Supplier” form and ticked the box – The whole of the payment is exempt income for the supplier. If they don’t accept this should I just supply the ABN and then when I do my tax return, make sure the deductions are high enough not to pay tax?
