Hi All, I wanted to ask for some feedback on a tax topic issue.
Someone I know received a statement Of account from the ATO stating that they owe around 3k. I wanted to ask what would be the best option, 1. Discharge the liability via a payment option or 2. Send a letter back asking if their claim is to the Man/Women?

I love this, thanks for sharing Morag and thanks to the soul who wrote of their experience. I am a middle path person so I like that this soul played the system game to get out of it. I am contemplating something similar but it’s a bit trickier as there’s an implied $40k debt….
