Help with protecting a new private community with buildings and gardens
Hi folks,
OK, we are preparing to embark upon an incredible opportunity out in East Gippsland, Victoria. My wife is a qualified Permaculture Design Consultant and is also in to regenerative soil, natural building and many other things.
We have a friend who owns a 20 acre bush property and has offered us to move there rent free and work on the property. We will be making decisions on this quite soon, but our intention will be to slowly convert her property into a community that works together. We have a number of other people that would be keen to move there and work with us.
This will involve building new buildings at some point and I would like to make sure we are doing whatever we can to protect our friend and ourselves from the powers that shouldn’t be. Ideally, it would be great if we could get it set up in a structure that allows us to do whatever we want on the land without interference from the “authorities”.
Is this possible with something like a private Unit Trust?
