I looked through my old documents for Denplan, specifically a piece of paper called ‘Denplan care assessment’ The details are on the back with the heading: -‘The Care Agreement’- between you and your dentist. A copy for the patient. On the back, in small print, lists all the details of the agreement. First line says, ‘Denplan’s role is to provide administrative services to support the CONTRACT between you and your dentist. This includes passing payments onto your dentist. it is an insurance plan but it clearly says CONTRACT in the notes and i see the word CONSENT in there. I remember filling out an application form but don’t realise i signed a contract between myself and my dentist.

So is there any way to contest this, maybe at application form stage or perhaps when the insurance plan gets updated to a higher fee (because the fee always goes up every year) ?
