  • Back to PAYG after no future tax return

I might have to take a role back in PAYG 😭. I have chosen no future tax return being a sole trader. I’m assuming if I fill out a TFN form I automatically just create a contract again to pay tax and just continue filling out my tax for the PAYG method.

This doesn’t mean I’m crossing jurisdiction does by opting out then proceeding to pay tax through PAYG? Just double checking before I accept the role. It’s temporary but I’ll have to account for it in this years return.

    Thanks 😊

How do you start a new discussion?

I would think they would just accept your payment and yes it does put you in the public jurisdiction, but if you have to pay tax to do business then maybe have one private business under another name that you trade in private with and just trade in the public with this business? Just a suggestion.
