  • Claim of Right – Round 4 – Notice of Default Judgment

    Hi!

I’ve completed all 3 rounds of the Claim of Right process, and am at the final stage, round 4, where we notify the respondents of the Default Judgment.

My question is, I’m unsure of how the final page (page 3) of the Default Judgment should be filled out? I’ll be using a J.P. and not a Notary.

You can see a screenshot of what the template file looks like (from Solutions Empowerment Claim of Right module).

I’m happy to send the actual Round 4 document to whoever can help me understand how it should look like when it is completed.

    Thanks! John 🙂

What part of it are you not sure about? Also I use two JPs if I want my document to have more clout. I just book two jps on the same day different times and go from one to the other.

Thanks Morag. I’m just really confused about how it should be filled out based on whether you use a J.P., and if witnesses are necessary, etc.

It is okay if I send you the document and you put in some fake names, etc so I can see what the final outcome should be?

Thanks Morag… that is so helpful!

Judging by the wording of the document, the 2 witnesses need to be there with the JP and they all sign together.
