Clarification of when to use Agent & Agent in Commerce
In the Minimising Your Tax module there are 2 PAYE/G examples for “Tax return for individuals”, one for 2009 and one for 2018.
1. Can you use either “AGENT” or “AGENT IN COMMERCE” as the main occupation on the tax return for PAYE/G? Does it matter? If yes, when would you use the latter?
2. In the 2018 example, was the omitting of the income and tax withheld for the relevant ABN intentional or an error?

Thanks M-J. I think I will clarify this with Mark as it is still not clear as to why in the 2018 example the income and tax withheld was not entered on the same line as the ABN.

Good idea, he should be able to clear it up for you. Just make your question very clear and unambiguous so that Mark doesn’t answer something you are not asking and also put Q… before your question so he can easily see it in the chat.
