All rights reserved passport success
Hi everyone,
I just picked up my “all rights reserved” passport this morning from the post office.
I first found a post office that was ok with me signing my name with all rights reserved in Chatswood NSW. The woman at the counter didn’t need to take my Statutory Declaration form, telling me she will make a note I’m changing my signature.
Not surprisingly, two weeks later, I received an email from the Passport Office seeking a different signature because I can’t have a political slogan, etc.
I took this to my local post office with my Statutory Declaration form and signed my name the same way. She asked me am I sure, and I replied, yes. I then requested she attach my Statutory Declaration form with the application, which she did.
Around two weeks ago, I received an SMS informing me my passport is coming in the mail.
I picked it up this morning only because I was away from home for a week. I opened the package and found my unabridged signature.
Now onto the driver’s licence.
It works! Stand your ground and be polite. Let the forms and your writing speak more.
God bless,
Brian
