  Trust & foundation account

  Hi Folks,

  I have a trust account at Bendigo Bank.

  We have been trying to set up a bank account for our foundation with no luck at many different banks but haven’t yet tried Bendigo bank.

  Has anyone have both at the same bank ? Would there be any issues having them at the same bank?

  Hi Catherine!

  I have both my trust and foundation accounts with one bank – Great Southern Bank. I had no issues setting it up…. however, when my daughter tried setting up her foundation account they knocked it back (at a different branch to mine). Very inconsistent.

  The bank account for my Trust just went live and active today, I went with Commonwealth Bank and it was a very easy process.

  They obviously converted the name of the trust and parties to the trust to their ALL CAPS text but that’s only so they can recognise the Trust in their system.

  Thanks I might try bendigo for the foundation I have tried so many other banks with no luck.

  And the trust was quick and easy
