    grand rising community,

I am super new to this webpage and whilst I have an absolute thirst to learn everything, I’m not sure where to start. I have watched the interview with tom barnett, took notes, did the foundational course.

do i start with my source id, and get that sorted?

or do i start with say the tax module as my goal is to stop paying this. id like be able to to set up a trust or something like that although i am not versed in this knowledge yet so please forgive my lack of knowing just yet. as a single mum i want to set myself and my kids up for an amazing present and future and then really help others get out of the system if they want to learn how.

if anyone has any strategies to assist me in what to commence my learning journey in rules of equity and leaving the public realm and entering into the private realm, id love to hear from you.

thanks so much to anyone who replies 🙂

    Ellie

    Hi Ellie,

it’s not really a strategy i’m sharing but more like ‘that’s how we did it’.

We started by setting up a private trust. It was important to us so that any property, wealth etc is owned by the trust and not the person. We have two bank accounts under that private trust. (We had success with Commonwealth Bank and Macquarie Bank)

For the last couple of years we used the knowledge from the tax module to do our personal tax return. Since we’re still employees and therefore pay tax on our income we started collecting our grocery receipts (sustenance for the living). On the end of the financial year we claim our expenses to sustain the living. We do it within reason to not trigger the ATO. Each year we just claim a little bit more.

In my experience, it is an ongoing process and each individual needs to pick their battles. Especially, during the covid times I used a lot of knowledge from this website to go mask less to work for example.

    Hope that helps a bit.

    Cheers

    Melissa

No we didn’t obtain our source id documents. I have a german birth certificate and my partner a dutch. I looked into it at the beginning but it was too difficult not living in the birth country and studying another type of legal system. We picked other battles instead 😉

Once we have children I want to learn how to get them birth certificates for the living.
