Expiation Notice – NOTICE OF DEMAND TO CEASE AND DESIST SOLICITON
Hello All,
I have received expiation notices, don’t open them & write “DO NOT CONSENT TO CONTRACT” then send them back.
Then I received a text message from SA FINES advising I have an unpaid fine would I like to add it to my existing payment plan.
I wrote them the attached letter. Had some help with it.
I also sent them my certificate COMMONWEALTH PUBLIC OFFICIAL, as well as my LIVE BIRTH RECORD & a FEE SCHEDULE.
I have now received another envelope in the mail. I have not opened it.
I haven’t opened them before & would prefer to continue this practice, however now that I have written to them with NOTICE OF DEMAN TO CEASE AND DESIST SOLICITON am I obliged to open their letters now or can I continue to send them back, un-opened with DO NOT CONSENT TO CONTRACT.
In my letter I wrote all correspondence to be in writing in future.
It is just easier than writing back and forth as I always need assistance with letters.
Keeping in mind I have not opened any of their notices by mail & even the text message I received I did not open it, I was able to view the first two lines when it appeared in my notifications.
What action is required now that I have written to them.

After researching I found that SA FINES / FINES ENFORCEMENT & RECOVERY UNIT are not a registered corporation. How can they fine registered corporations if they themselves are not registered.

If it was me I would focus on staying calm and holding my position (I would probably not open any envelopes if I had not entered a contract with them and I would just write the usual on the outside of the envelope and then record myself sending it back within 72 hours of receiving it) and at the same time learning scripts for court from webinars and modules just in case I needed to do that, making sure where I live is secure with cameras and locks on gates and trespass signs at every entrance, so that people can’t just walk on whenever they feel like. If it was not possible to have locked gates I would have peep holes in the door so I could check out who is there and whether I want to answer it or even open it. I would have some sort of security door so no one can just barge in if I do open the door. I would also make sure my car was not easily accessible. I would focus on making sure the three step notice was completed with a final affidavit outlining everything completed to create an agreement with the adversary so I would be ready for court. I would also look into their code of Conduct and any other documents or Acts they are bound by to find the relevant parts to hold them to account for their harassment and disturbance of the peace etc.. I would keep a folder by the door with an application to enter the property in it and all sorts of other things like scripts and Acts and make sure I always had a camera handy to record any interactions.

Thankyou, I’m not sure I can do all of that morag, I have done the 3 letter process before and I never seem to come out ahead. I think most feel this way, they make the process so long and time consuming most of us end up backing down. I find myself not able to sleep at nights because as a working Mum I don’t have time to study it all 100%
Its sad and makes me feel like a failure.
I appreciate the advice I receive on this platform though and I am learning all be it slowly. It’s a matter of courage, but I will get there one day.
