THIS IS A CALL OUT FOR HELP FROM ANOTHER PLATFORM.

I know Mark has talked about this before.

    Can anybody assist us please?

We are trying to obtain passports for our children here in Australia (based in Queensland). But without birth certificates we keep hitting a dead end. Surely there is a way…?

    A little extra information…

My partner (from Northern Ireland) is now a permanent resident of Australia (our 2 children were born here & are 7 & 8 years old). To become a resident, she had to show proof of the children’s births & immigration dept accepted their Common Law certificates & live birth letters from the hospital . Problem is; the passport people will not.

We’ve even tried getting them UK passports & are hitting the same dead end…

Could somebody please offer some of their wisdom or perhaps point us in the right direction

    That would be greatly appreciated
