according to initial papers that came with trust documents, it was intimated that best to contact s and e team if wanting to remove a beneficiary as it could have implications. just wondered what those implications were? other research has indicated that it was simply a case of drawing up an addendum and doing some minutes stating that such and such has been removed as beneficiary. any thoughts? cheers….i was simply going to remove myself as a beneficiary (i am trustee and also one of the beneficiaries) (even though this is ok, to make it stronger and a bit more arms lengthy)…or is there no need? cheers

We have given copies of our Trust documents to various entities and lawyers have looked them over and there is no fault with the way these have been created. If you want to remove yourself as beneficiary you are entitled to do that, however it could perhaps potentially inhibit your ability to use the trust property for your benefit.

          Gday!

I would like to remove the tertiary beneficiaries from my non registered trust. Could you please offer me some guidance on what the process is to remove beneficiaries ?

          Thank you so much!

This is from Mark….”We have a deed of addendum in these trusts, to remove or include more parties. It’s still a permanent trust but a trustee can revoke a party if they need to. It’s all under trust law in the Weiss’s Book of Trusts.”
