Hi , been through the discussions and made notes
I submitted my first tax return using the method in the minimise tax module PAYG.
Just enquiring if anyone else has had experience being audited and would be willing to share the methodology, instruction for holding position ,resolving or remedying the audit or anything else that may best prepare me, including any relevant resources on this site.
This is my first time holding position.
My ‘other’ work related expenses may have been too high.
Just want to prepare.
Pre-empting and open to suggestions.

Did you buy the module. Holding your position is in there. I wouldn’t submit your tax return unless you have the correct paper work including an affidavit also included in the module

I did purchase the module and included the affidavit signed by a JP.
I’ll check again and other modules.
Helps streamline the learning with others sharing and methods.

Hi,
So I received call today from a private no. that went to voice mail. The message was an offer to call the ATO , with a contact name , not specifying the reason.
Although I’ve read and practiced some holding position, I feel it may be a big leap to get on a call and again have read some of the notes in the module.
Because I’m quite inexperienced at this , there is a lot of information to process and gather, which is overwhelming.
Any input or suggestions welcome , while I’m working out the best next step to proceed.

Suggestion, you could send a text saying any more calls they make to you will invoke a charge of $1,000 for your time in answering that call and that you will take any more phone calls as their agreement to these terms and you will send out an invoice to them if they decide to call again..
