  Amendment to 2022 return Audit

  I did an amendment for the 2022 tax return and I received an audit claiming they adjusted my claims in my “work-related expenses”. They have rejected my return claiming I have insufficient evidence. Looks like they are clamping down on this.

  Any suggestions to hold my position.

  Do you have evidence of the work related expenses you have claimed? Couldn’t you use this as evidence if you have? Maybe ask for a meeting with an officer so you can go through your evidence?

  If you have access to the webinars on tax matters there’s some good info on questions you can ask to at least hold the ATO at bay
