Wow!! True miracle indeed. My dad actually died twice and came back to life. The second time I was there to witness it. The nurse looked up the the clock and was going to call the time of death then he came back again within a couple of minutes. He didn’t experience anything while he was gone.

That’s amazing. I was in a situation myself where I was in a hospital (I had a severe allergic reaction) and I woke up with a tag on my toe as they thought I was going to die and had to revive me with paddles. I didn’t experience anything while I was ‘dead’ either. I was so disappointed but I reasoned that God knew my faith was strong enough to go on without that.

Yes we are so fragile. I am of the opinion that we don’t go straight to heaven but sleep in the grave until the last day. There are various verses that point to this but I could be wrong.

    eg <b style=”background-color: var(–bb-content-background-color); font-family: inherit; font-size: inherit; color: var(–bb-body-text-color);”>Ecclesiastes 9:5

5 For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten.

Matthew 27:52-53, when Jesus died, <mark>many bodies of saints who had fallen asleep</mark> were raised from the dead. These saints, after Jesus’ resurrection, came out of their tombs, entered the holy city (Jerusalem), and appeared to many people.

    <b style=”background-color: var(–bb-content-background-color); font-family: inherit; font-size: inherit; color: var(–bb-body-text-color);”>Luke 23:43

43 And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, Today shalt thou be with me in paradise.

(they didn’t have comers back then so this verse could read)

And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee today, shalt thou be with me in paradise.

The comer gives it 2 different meanings.

I know there are folk that have real experiences and I do believe they did experience something from the Lord. God lives outside of the realms of time and we don’t comprehend all of these things. These things aren’t a salvation issue anyway
