Accessing Super Early
Hey Everyone,
I am wondering if anyone has accessed their super (part or full) early?
I know that they can release up to $10,000 on compassionate grounds, however they want access to my private medical information. How do I go around this?

You could quote the Privacy Act and ask them if they are not bound by this Act. Look for the part that says ‘intrudes to an unreasonable extent’ That’s in the NZ Act but some one here may know the wording in the Australian Act, it may be similar. The Bill of Rights Act should have ‘right not to be discriminated against’

Clause 5, of the Constitution Act which states that
