    I am about to do a Certificate of Protect for 4 good witnesses to sign. If anyone can answer me urgently it would be appreciated. I just wanted to know about the second paragraph “….nor COLLECTION OF PAYMENT REQUESTED was received, sought or required by Council…”.

    This certificate of protest would be done and signed after the initial rejection of the payment. What does this quote/phrase mean specifically?

    I asked Mark this question and received an answer. The reason you can write that wording in the Certificate of Protest is because at that time when you do the Certificate of Protest, it’s immediately after they rejected your BOE payment, and at that time, they have not asked again for payment.
