Advice, please…. Experience would be beneficial. I have been going through the process of dealing with a 6klm over speed fine whereas I submitted payment through the birth certificate details. Obviously rejected by the Camera division and eventually was sent to ‘SPUR. After I communicated with SPUR twice and suggested if they do not recognise the payment as legally binding then I wish to hear the matter in court. Assuming that it would be in the too hard department I received a registered letter (not by myself) from the Qld Govt which obviously is the court hearing date. Now I have not opened the letter. Should I send it back? OR should I proceed with the matter then and address the payment by birth certificate matter as well as who does the judge swear their allegiance to matter? Not running away from it, but would just like to know the correct angle of attack.
