  • Default listing a debtor with Equifax

Has anyone been successful in default listing a debtor (i.e. a loan company or loan company employee) with Equifax?

I made enquiries with them about default listing a debtor and this was their response:

“Please note that in order for you to register a consumer default you need to meet requirements set out by the Credit Reporting Code and Privacy Act. This means that you need to hold an australian credit licence and be a member of a dispute resolution scheme.”

Are there any other organisations that a consumer can use to default list a loan company and its employees?
