Yes that’s true, common law is just another man made law and it’s just another jurisdiction. I used to think it was in a higher jurisdiction but it is like comparing tennis and hockey, they are just different sets of rules, that’s why it is so good to use equity because that can be used in either jurisdiction and under their own legislation it says if there is a variance between the rules of common law and the rules of equity then equity prevails. The only way one can legitimately use common law in the administrative courts is through established case law. I believe Alex advocates for settling privately using common law processes tied to equity and not stepping into a court room.

Hi Morag, Karen here from Sydney. Some time back, about Jan 2024 you posted a video where Geoff Waterhouse is interviewed by Lucy and Juicey. Geoff was from the UK. Geoff has perfected the method of seeking remedy via professional indemnity insurance claims from the likes of council, police, health etc. I thought I saved the video however I cannot find it. Could you please send me the link directly as I’ve looked everywhere for it and can’t seem to locate it. Thank you in advance. Karen
