Greetings friends, i am a new member to the community.

I have a company that builds and develops property and also have a Non registered Private Association.

I, along with many other men and women, have an ongoing challenge with my local council which is Tweed Shire Council in Northern NSW.

I have been waiting 12 months for a development application with the council after i was promised it would be issued in 120 days last August. I have had to borrow and refinance my family home to live as my main project and 2 other projects are all stuck in council. I have not been able to generate cashflow for over a year due to this and have a family.

I have been documenting conversations, recording phone calls and collecting emails for a year and they have been promising many things and consistently not honouring their word or their promises. I am not alone there are literally hundreds on men and women in the shire experiencing the same things as i.

I have been researching and have found that there is a local government act and code of conduct and these members of council are breaching many of their commitments to the code.

I am wondering if anyone knows if i can make a claim against the wo/men who are causing this financial harm to i and our community. Can i engage the act to press claims against them and how do i bring them to account.

I also heard in a podcast that Mark said he has experience bring local council to account with them being fraudulent or treasonous…is this a possible avenue?

I would be very grateful for any assistance that anyone could offer. Thank you
