Dealing with ‘Police & Authorities’

Jury duty

Hi all.

I’ve been called up for jury duty. Can I refuse as I do not want to engage with “them” and set a precedence for any future events :-). It is a “notice to prospective juror” for Queensland Courts, Australia.

You can excuse yourself for legitimate reasons. Just ring them and ask them what the criteria is for excusing yourself from Jury duty. There is sure to be a category you fit into.
