He was very quick to go from threatening to issue me a “$500 ticket”, to telling me to be on my way once I made it clear that I DO NOT CONSENT TO CONTRACT!

Just keep learning so that you have about 10 different ways of dealing with them up your sleeve and so you know how to deal most effectively with an Officer if he starts to get belligerent or kidnaps you. Most of the time if you hit them with 10 different questions and you have your conditional acceptances and case law at your fingertips they get punch drunk and send you on your way. They may pull you up again to test you and see how much you know.

It’s all trial and error hey. I had a run in with another pirate a few days ago, and I wasn’t in such a confident mood. I whipped out a conditional acceptance contract and he called his supervisor and followed through with trying to pursue the situation because I had doubt in my voice. All trial and error and practice
