The Australian Business Registry Services (ABRS) within the Australian Taxation Office has primary responsibility for administering the Director ID Program. You should contact the ABRS directly about the matters raised in your correspondence.
ASIC is responsible for enforcing Director ID offences set out in the Corporations Act 2001. It is a criminal offence if you do not apply on time.

If you look at the updated module which if you bought it, you can update for no cost, it has the address needed to correspond with ABRS. When ASIC sent me the letter you posted, i thanked them but continued the process with ASIC and did the process with ABRS, as well.
