Parking fine in business vehicle
Posted by mamasha on November 1, 2022 at 5:41 pmHi, just received this the other day, a parking fine where i honestly did not realize i shouldn’t park. The thing i want to ask is, if you look closely, you’ll see where the ticket was taped is next to the ‘no trespassing’ sign, inside the window. Our sign says ‘private property keep out trespassers prosecuted dillon v plenty 1991
unless by prior arrangement’.
Does that hold any weight about private property if the vehicle is registered with the business?
Thank you!

Don’t worry they have no contract with you. You could do the first thing on this list if you want to and if they send further correspondence, don’t open the envelope and just repeat the process on the outside of the envelope. Make sure you photograph everything for evidence before you send it back. You could include a certificate of mailing as well if you wanted to with the first reply. Just keep all of your evidence in a folder. They may send it up to three or four times and they are all just offers.

If they are making any claims then the burden of proof is on them, so always ask questions. Watch these webinars…These principles apply no matter what authority figure you are dealing with….http://solutionsempowerment.org/webinar-how-to-address-police-when-affronted-by-an-officer/….http://solutionsempowerment.org/webinar-10-ways-to-discharge-debt/

So,to double check this, writing the first idea listed here across the expiation notice…
I would do that in my name, correct? Even thought the fine is addressed to the business name?
-
I you are talking about what you write across the document before sending it back, then you don’t put any name on it.

Is it possible to write ‘(The business name) DOES NOT CONSENT to contract with you.’
Can a business consent or not consent since it is a dead entity?
-
No consent to contract is enough.

So stop the writing before the part that says ‘revoked By’…

Also, is there a way to do this for my son, who is overseas at the moment and won’t be back for a while, without his autograpg? Or possibly a docusign?
-
Yes you can do this. If it is unclaimed then they have no one to contract with. Meanwhile study webinars that teach you how to deal with officials and learn how contracts work so you can understand why this is a valid process for you to complete. Learn and role-play the scripts you hear about and the more you do it the more understanding you will gain.
