Private Trusts, Testimentary Will and Issues with DIrectors ID
Hi guys, wanted to know if anyone has used private trust systems to make a Testamentary Trust Will. Our dad passed away and had a testamentary Trust Will in place. We created the Trusts and companies with a lawyer, however since finding out about Marks private trusts systems have created a set of Private Trusts as well.
We are having issues with the original system now with Directors ID letters been sent to us and not sure what to do.
We wanted to know:
1. has anyone had any success with not complying with Directors ID? if so, how did you go about it? If not what has been the alternative to a company?
2. Has anyone setup a testamentary Trust Will with private Trusts? If so would love some input on the process.
3. Does anyone in Australia or Melbourne in particular have any professional consultants they can refer us to who understand the private space and can advise us?

The Q and As with Mark is probably the space to ask about the, testamentary will with a private trust, process.

Hy Janet, thanks so much for the reply. is the Q and A’s live discussions with Mark? I have already had chats to Mark about this and he told me that space was a bit above his knowledge base and i needed professional advise.

In regards to my previous message, Mark told me to seek further advise in regards to linking our testamentary Will with the trusts he created. I did not speak to him about the directors ID.

Oh ok, In regards to the letters I have shared, I’m not sure about the success rate, but these are letters people have used to deal with the Directors ID question. They seem to be very well written and cover most of the issues.
