  • QLD Infringement – who to address

I thought I’d pop this up for others as well.

I received this in the mail after being pulled over by a cop.

You’ll see in the document I attached each different department that I may need to direct my notice to.

I am doing a conditional acceptance in this case, and leveraging my side with the ARR signature, as well as my birth registration Certificate. (Licence is in my home state though, and birth registration hasn’t been reconveyed)

I’m thinking in this case I would need to address the one seeking payment and who holds the licence, which I feel would be TMR:

1 – It expresses you go to the TMR website to make payment.

2 – The biller code for the BPAY option belong to “TRANSPORT AND MAIN ROADS INFRINGEMENT NOTICE 48421”

3 – They explain you need to update details to TMR as well.

If anyone would go for another department, or has other ideas on why you might possibly go for another department in this case. can you also share why so I can see what your thought process.

I’m also thinking, it could even depend on the process you are using to fight it, by who you chose to go for.

Hopefully this helps others with a similar infringement in QLD too.

Upon looking for who I need to place in this potition for point 27:

    27. The Registrar of <Debt Collecting Agency> is foresworn, under an Oath of Office and under its Commonwealth of Australia Constitution Act (UK) 1900/01, to protect people and their property.

I have been looking into who is responsible for the Statement of account (Infringement Notice) I have been offered.
TMR looks responsible but going straight for the Queensland revenue office might make more sense and push a bit harder. It is the revenue after all.

    It’s hard to decide.
TMR takes the payments but the Queensland revenue office is the receiver.

    See the picture below
It is just the bot chat info, but the content is gathered from their official website.

Have you got the module 19 Options for dealing with Infringements? It has some Qld documents in there,

I actually don’t have that module but cant afford another one at the moment so I’ll just have to go with the other modules I guess.

There’s no webinar for module 19 either, but I can use 36 instead.
My partner opened my infringement which was really frustrating because I purposefully don’t open them now. I do remember either you or Ant saying you could tape it up and write a letter explaining I mistakenly opened it thinking it was something else.
I could try this, or just print the unclaimed on the form and do the notice of conditional acceptance, such an effort though haha

I have the Officers Number on the infringement because he pulled me over.
What is in the module 19, Is it more specific to this type of infringement? Do they do an unclaimed process

In Module 19 Options for Dealing With Infringements, there is a three step notice process and affidavits a Stop Infringements doc and lots more.
