  • Sending Demand Notices and Correspondence to an Adversary

In order to be able to include your demand notices and correspondence sent to an adversary in an affidavit where your exhibits can be certified to be true copies of original documents, what is the best thing to do? Does anyone have some useful tips?

I am thinking that given thay you don’t really want to be sending certified copies of documents to an adversary (e.g. a demand notice) or anyone else, the only thing you can do is to make 2-3 copies of the signed original demand notice or other original documents before sending them but first get them certified by a Justice of the Peace beforehand.

I messed up with my 3 Notice and Demand notice process by not getting certified copies of my demand notices and letters before sending them to my loan company and now I am unable to use printed copies of my scanned notices/documents. I have scanned copies of all my demand notices and correspondence where I sent my demand and letters to my loan company by email and at the same time sent the originals by registered mail so they couldn’t say they didn’t get them. However, a JP won’t certify a printed copy of a scanned document unless you have the original.
