Cars before 2010 have a higher probability of having no spy devices. However if you routinely use and carry a smartphone that compromises your privacy hugely as well.

Good to know re older car models. What year did they start putting computers into cars? I haven’t used a cell phone for 15 years- this is my current model- no tracking, no EMR, natural GPS, doesn’t interrupt meetings, and embarrasses one’s children when one answers a call in public 🤣 You can also glue a picture of your favourite celebrity to the screen if you want to be really posh!

Lol! From the comments under the video it seems pre 2000 is a pretty safe bet if you can get a car in that era. We have a 2006 honda stream and my husband said it doesn’t have any sim cards in it. We took out the radio, video player and the wifi that ran those devices that was in it . We don’t have a smart phone just a small little brick and we hardly ever use it and turn it off when we are traveling most of the time. We use paper maps but sometimes download maps from Google and print them out when we only have a short distance to go (about 20 mins to 1 hours traveling at the most is a normal short distance around here)

Yeah if you can disable the wi-fi and bluetooth it’s a good idea. I too just use paper maps. Am prob going to have to get some sort of a phone as my children are starting to drive cars and I’d hate to not be available if I’m not home and they broke down somewhere. My landline still my mainstay though.
