  • Statutory Declaration on “All rights reserve” signature

Recently I went to the Post Office to submit a passport application and wanted to sign with an “All rights reserved”. The officer behind the counter said she won’t accept this. And even if she does, the government department responsible for approving the passport wouldn’t accept it.

Would it work if I use a Statutory Declaration form that’s certified by a JP or other approved individual to say that this is my signature? Has anyone done the same using this approach?

Given more people are now aware of rules of equity, I am sensing that many government departments and the courts are finding ways to try to set up further roadblocks. So I hope to hear suggestions on what are ways around these roadblocks.

    Thank you.

    God bless,

    Brian
