Transfer VIC license to ACT?
I have a vehicle license with two Demerrit points left.
I have recently moved to Canberra and I’m wondering if it’s in my best interest to transfer my license to ACT license given a lot of pending matters associated with my Vic license that may diminish my last Demerrit points left.
I know that it’s best to have a license from a separate state than the one I’m living in. However the matters that are associated with my Victorian license are making me think that it could possibly be within my best interest to transfer it to ACT license.
What are your thoughts on what I should do?

i would go for what my gut was telling me to do. Just see it as a research project and so there is no win or lose situation, it’s just an experiment.

Would transferring the license refresh the amount of demerit points back to 0, and the deducted demerits on my VIC license won’t be transferred to my new ACT license?
