hi, i am a Brit, but i no longer live in the communist state of the uk, lol, but have only just moved, so most of my studies of the legislation is of the UK, so i am having to convert all the section and acts, now, but they mostly all say the same.

Hi Daisy, oh good for you getting out of here! My family and I are actively working to move to Africa. Its work in progress. May I ask where you moved too? If they bought your debt then it has been settled.

Unless they can show a lawfully executed Deed of Assignment with your signature on it there is no debt.

Suggest you do a DSAR to them requesting a copy. They must prove you owe debt to them.
