    Hello there,

Simon from Slovenia here, i am just going through the solutions manual 12th edition, and on pg. 24 there are Uniform Civil Procedure Rules 1999 which dont apply to EU based countries, so was wondering if anyone knows if there is the equivalent for the EU?

I am really having trouble with finding all the equivalent acts, laws etc. in Slovenian language or in EU.

How does one apply all the knowledge to non-english countries, would one need to write in native language when writing or signing documents eg. the signature by all rights reserved, does this apply even in non-english speaking countries?

Have you tried perhaps looking initially at your own country’s legislation? Or its own civil procedure rules? if not why not try finding the equivalent Uk legislation and civil procedure rules? And then translating to your native language? And looking for the equivalent legislation, You will have equivalent legislation and Civil procedure rules, Although i do not know what jurisdiction you have over there.

I have recently been dealing with HMRC as I didn’t complete a self assessment last year. I have received a 3K fine.

You can ask the simple question of which law compels me to pay tax? When replying, 3 notices etc.

HMRC have sent notices for you to receive communications by paper or online, I would choose the paper option.

You may then receive a notice to pay (fine) etc, this notice should have a giro bank coupon on bottom of the letter which means you are being given the opportunity to offset the payment by filling in the coupon to settle the bill, my problem is I can’t find the relevant information for filling in the coupon (slip) correctly.

They are actually giving you the solution, we just don’t realise it
