this link came up in a search for a book on the subject ” law of agency pdf” , having read it i thought it worth posting .

id like to find he book it came from I’ve searched Houston university on line, but with out success ,

another search for “the modern law of contracts pdf ” pulls up several books about that subject

A legal Payment declined is a debt waived.

imagine calling the cops on an old man paying for his strawberry’s with cash. Piers Corbyn is a well known English rebel .

Here’s a great comment from under the ytube video “I would like to see this go to court. I hope this man has a good lawyer
and the means to win against this huge corporation. IANAL, but IMHO the
store cannot accuse him of shoplifting, because he paid the full amount.
Aldi may complain about breach of contract, but they would have to
prove that he agreed to their terms of payment just by walking into the
store. Nevertheless the store may become criminally liable by refusing
legal tender and acting with intimidation.”

we had a power cut in our town and a sign on the shop door (we only have 1. it’s a small town) said Cash Only. Cash is king 🙂
