JP to witness Affidavit

    JP to witness Affidavit

    Good morning

    Is there a JP in Tweed/Gold Coast area who would witness a ‘Claim in the Form of an Affidavit’ (to attach to a Tax Return)?

    The claim is from a template in SE Tax bundle.

    Have been to Elanora and told it’s not the correct way to do an Affidavit and no JP will sign this one. So to save time I’m hoping someone here knows where I can go.

    Just keep trying different JP’s until you find one . I have been to 2 different ones in our small town of 4000 and both have signed.

    We went to the court house once and the deputy registrar witnessed our signatures on our affidavits. If another one says no ask what is wrong with the affidavit that is making them not want to sign it and maybe you can adjust it so it will get through?

    I’ll just do a standard looking Affidavit and try elsewhere to have it witnessed.
