00:06:11 Claude: Q) I am trying to understand in more detail the (certificate) ‘form of protest’ as described in BOE Act 1909 Sec 100, Schedule 2.
Are you saying that the certificate of protest:
1. Is the icing on the cake to memorialise the non acceptance of our payment instrument
2. It certifies the dishonour of our payment instrument, therefore discharges the liability to pay
3. The certificate of protest included in the PN module 8 is a more ‘complete/detailed’ version of Second Schedule sec 100 as you have added more to it – as allowed in BOE Act sec100(2)
4. Should be used in a court of law to defend your position that – payment was made and subsequently discharged by the fact they (public institution)did not present at for payment at the meeting place specified on the payment instrument.
