Thank you for the reply.
Who would this be addressed to? The Chief countable by name, even though he/she is not named in the document anywhere, it just says ‘Chief Constable’, or less personal/specific to the Lincolnshire Police?
Should a successful three step process keep me out of court? or ultimately will I need to attend court to settle it do you think?
Finally, is the approach of sending mistaken identity mail (all caps name) to the Births, Deaths and Marriages department not a good idea then? Im guessing not! And In the affidavit/if I went to court is that something I should mention I did?
Thank you

MemberOctober 18, 2022 at 12:00 am in reply to: Newby, speed fine and getting some tips to navigate.I am in a similar situation with a speeding ‘offence’. Not sure ‘who’ I offended but hey ho. I have just opened two letters, both past the date of replying specified in the letters. They were put in a draw with junk mail letters and I just happened to come across them now. The first was a letter dates over a month ago, title ‘notice of intended persecution’, giving me 28 days to ‘name the driver’ of the vehicle at the time. The second is a ‘reminder’ letter giving me 7 days to supply the information asked for, or court proceedings may be taken against me.
That 7 days elapsed 3 days ago. So I am assuming there is already another letter in the post addressed to the straw man version of me wanting to take me to court. I am not sure I was even driving at the time of the alleged ‘offence’, it may have been my wife. But either way I will not be grassing her up obviously.
I was thinking about putting the letters back in the envelopes, and putting them in the post to the ‘births, deaths and marriages’ department and asking them to forward it on to the treasurer/trustee of the account as it was a addressed to a non living entity (which was my name in all caps) for settlement.
Any thought on that approach?

MemberNovember 11, 2024 at 11:21 am in reply to: Lender refuses to accept PN – what next?I am in deep in the process myself with something similar. I paid a court fine using a PN/cheque. It stated as a speeding fine, which after the three step process was withdrawn, however i was done for not providing drivers details which went to court and lost. So i decided to pay using the PN method. It was received, signed for and returned. However I used templates to assert the fact I had tendered payment and under the BoE Act I had extinguished my alleged debt. I then had a debt collector company called CDER after me for the money. They sent someone to my house to hand deliver a letter whilst I was not in and the cleaner accepted it. I held position and kept asking all the necessary questions of evidence payment was not tendered, and was not accepted etc etc. I don’t actually know what I said or what the defining email was, but eventually that company CDER gave up. However, i now have another pirate company threatening me called MARSTONS group. I don’t know how this is going to go, but i am trying to repeat the process and fend them off.
Im sorry for the back story, but I find reading everyones stories interesting and sometimes helpful. I just wondered how your endeavour @finna was working out? and if anyone reading @morag-janet-of-the-hill-family ? if you have any advice or help for me? I am in the UK. This has been going on now for over 2 years since the first claimed speeding offence. I am ready for it to go away now haha. It is exhausting

@morag-janet-of-the-hill-family Is there a webinar connected to the module 19 documents so I can be watching that while I wait for the payment issue to be resolved? thanks. Sorry for all the messages

A nice message like that is very uplifting in these circumstances. It feels good to hear and read because it is true. I find it so easy to slip back in to a nervousness of judgement and outcomes based on the fictional version of me and make that ‘person/personification’ of me real, when it is not. My body, soul and my god given right them is the only thing that is real. I do have to keep reminding myself of that.
Good to hear from you and hope you get some knowledge and strength from your endeavour. I will check in for updates on how you are doing if you post anything. I will share here my experiences too. I am now just going to concentrate on an affidavit first.

Tried purchasing the module you mentioned a few times now and it won’t process. I am trying learn quick here as I am not all the astute in writing affidavits and for me this situations seems pretty time sensitive. 10 days to reply to the plea. Do you have any info to get me going? I am not trying to duck out of paying for the modules, I am happy to pay regardless and have messaged the team with the problem.

MemberDecember 29, 2022 at 9:27 pm in reply to: Newby, speed fine and getting some tips to navigate. How did you get on with your situation @Ant_made ? I sent my letters un opened to the Births, Deaths and marriages department with not saying they had been addressed to a non living entity and they need to be forwarded to the treasury or relevant authority for settlement as I said above. That didn’t really turn out to be a good strategy I don’t think. Here is where I am at now, the link is to a different thread on this forum.
Just wondered what your outcome was with what you did?
