HI Ant … IM new to this place … but have just started doing the foundational course. These words stood out at me
“It is believed that eight days after your birth, a Trust estate is created whereby the State and Commonwealth both act as co – Trustees and co – Beneficiaries to your Trust – Estate, your all caps name.”do you know … who believes that? This doesn’t sound very convincing … IM looking for the facts and evidence, so I can use those facts and evidence …
If you dont know, who could I ask?

Thankyou! we had no contract .. nor were there any estimations. I assumed it was no win no fee type of situation as even though we asked they never gave us any indication of costs. and of course there was no win … fro them. Now however its in my hands. Honestly these lawyers … dont even know what they are talking about half the time! 😂

Thanks … my concern is … as an eligible child, my mother DID leave me assets in her will. The problem is the executor is failing to distribute those assets. IM not totally sure the court deals with that it seems like a grey little niche hiding in amongst all other situations .. they definitely get involved if you haven’t been left provisions … anyway. guess ill just ride the wave and lean into the experience 😂

yes we have the will … $250,000 left to me. I am on low income… (couldnt be much lower at the moment!). I have tried all community/ legal aid sources i could find … they dont do family provisions claims. I spoke to one solicitor (free service) and I was more knowledgeable on the topic than him – at least he was humble enough to admit it!😕
