This my take…
Trust is not for profit (nfp)(it says that in trust deed) and ngo (non governmental org.). Trust is discretionary…i.e. trustee has full discretionary powers.
main purpose….asset/ estate protection.
i would put N/A for is it a resident for tax purposes.
trustee can give their i.d. beneficiery details not needed…they get their names when they take photocopy of trust deed. i (as trustee) didnt have to give my tfn..it was optional..i chose not to.
I would try the postal address first (if thats the address on trust deed) and see what they say. If they need a physical address, them just give them yours….u can then maybe update it later once account opened?
dont worry or stress about it too much…just fill out the form to the best of your ability giving as minimul/maximal info as you want…at the end of the day, the clerk is just trying to complete the form for you before they send it off to their “complianace” team to make sure all in order..if there is a tweek or a bit extra they need u can change after…just go in with a good positive attitude. ..just assert its for. asset protection if they ask..which it is…its just a tool to help you navigate the best you can this system and ensure ..theres nothing illegal or wrong about it.
good luck with it and let us know how you go

dont see it as a failure just a little stumbling block. If u wanted to stay with that bank be friendly and speak with the guy u spoke with ask him what can you do overcome the stumbling block. tell them again, if you want, that its going to be used for estate protection. add…if u want..that through the productivity of trustee and any appointed manager there will be at some future stage funds going in. otherwise, if they still unsure, say thank you for your efforts and time and go to another bank. best of luck and let us know how you go

well its unregistered so it wont have an income. you could say it is for asset protection or for providing community services…see my previous post in the trust section on bank appointment.

Hello brian..just wondered if u had an update on yr proceedings and how you went with it all.
Thanks

thanks for posting…have heard someone mention this vow of poverty before…he touched on it in vid, but not much…..suppose it, along with trust set up is a way to own nothing but control everything. will have to look into a bit more.cheers

or see it as a lesson not to ever frequent junk food establishments again and put just organic whole foods into yr body when possible…which will appreciate it! the choice is yours. tally ho

thanks for your reply. appreciate it😀

just have a meeting with beneficiaries and resolve it with some minutes……theres plenty of template minutes on internet you could use as a guide…i believe theres even some in the original papers sent out with yr trust deed. perhaps u may consider getting the minutes stamped by JP simply confirming that it is an original document (Its of no business to them what s in the doc…they just confirming its an original doc) ……..u r the trustee with discretionary powers to appoint ….follow the trust deed all the best

below is, if i remember correctly, a post from a member a while back….they suggest Wise….I dont have it yet, although a friend has a personal account with Wise which they use overseas when on holiday and it works great and gives better exchange rates than a major banks “travel money cards”…….perhaps it is an option you can explore…I wish you all the best…let us know how you go…please note also that the referral link given at bottom is not mine, it is whomever posted the original link. …cheers
Wise is a tool for sending and receiving money, and paying for
things, domestically and internationally. It is an online account with
an optional debit card. The following is written for Australia but
applies everywhere so adjust accordingly.
Wise offers mid-market exchange rates for foreign exchange. This
means, the real exchange rate without a margin: unlike everyone
else. This is unheard of. And, the lowest fees and rates on sending
and receiving money. It provides optional domestic ‘bank account’
numbers for the countries you wish to receive money from. So a
deposit is just like paying a local. I found the Terms & Conditions
remarkably straight forward with no onerous stipulations. Just be
careful not to be in a situation you need ‘buyer protection’ on a
purchase. Charge backs are not as straightforward as major brands.
* Check out the great features & optional extras for managing
accounts and paying employees locally or internationally.
If you have a Non Registered Trust you can have a Wise Business
account set up as a Trust account! In the sign up process select
Trust as your business. Use the following when prompted. They are
for Wise itself and Wise told me to use them.
ABN 38 616 463 855
ACN 616 463 855
You will receive an email asking for further information about your
Trust. There are multiple options. Choose the options aligned with a
Non Registered Trust and ignore the rest. The only sticking point is
they still expect an ABN and CAN. The only pages from the Deed
they need are the cover page and the final two pages. Include a
note explaining it is a Non Registered Trust, it complies with
international Trust Law and Commonwealth of Australia Law. It is
recognised by all major financial institutions. And that all parties
have an Australian address and passport. That will verify your
account without the need for an ACN.
It is free to sign up.
* When upgrading to a full Business account. You will be asked if 50%
or more of your income comes from goods and services. If you don’t
know the answer, select Yes. This minimises the reporting
requirements, compared to ‘passive’ income.
* For security and privacy I recommend using free Proton VPN to
connect to the site.
If you use this invite link to sign up your first transaction will be free.
What about using Wise. You will receive a ’bank account’ number to provide Mark so his paying
you Australian dollars will be just like a domestic deposit for him. Virtually no fees on either side.
And a mid-market exchange rate so no margin added by the vendor, unlike everyone else. Using
your bank to be paid means fees for foreign transactions, on both sides, plus a poor exchange rate.
And as mentioned you can set up the Wise as a Trust per my instructions in the document.
wise.com
Send money to your friends and family or pay for goods and services in foreign currency. No margins and no spreads on true market exchange rates.

hi…agreed….matters like that shouldnt be asked publically…but just for clarification, the original post was not mine…..i was simply responding to whomever posed the question… with either ask the bank or yourself why there seemed to be an issue…anyway, hopefully, its all been resolved..cheers
-
hello brandon…would be interessted to see what your counter offer to them was….or a rough idea if u dont want to fully disclose…..so u basically had a win because they refused yr counter offer?
-
digital assets from you to trust……can choose one/all of the following/ (a) deed of gift (v simple draw one up, get witnessed by jp)/ (b) stat dec (v simple print a blank template..fill out and get signed by jp/ (c) affidavit..same thing…. simply write out something like I, (name) donate all my digital asset portfolio to trust on such a date.. to the best of my knowledge, they come free of any encumbrances and thats it…keep it simple…..look up on a search engine some examples of deed of gift and taylor it. as said, keep it simple. minimum info. cheers…ps why u guys using centralised exchange? all tre best

thanks for yr reply Morag…always appreciated…yep i get that its private and no ones business apart from the people within the trust.it is nice to hear confirmation though…and in my case its pretty simple theres not a lot of beneficieries or any other people involved, but Im just trying to get it straight in my head, coz, in the trust deed, it does say that the trustee does have obligations to keep all the records/transactions in order…not for any public office/r…..i am trying to do it in the simplest way possible…cgt is capital gains tax…if some of assets in trust accrued some.was going to write them off aginst expenses…think i saw one pdf article where if a property owed cgt on sale, mark had thrown that gain into a foundation…..but yr right this is a private trust and …cheers😍

Thank, as always, morag….much appreciated…kia ora y power to u….have a beautiful rest of the week/weekend

Hi Morag, from here!
-
“decline” to do business might be preferable to not (knot) consenting…..when you knot something you bind (or create joinder )…..same as “refuse” …when u re-fuse or “knot” you join…………heard that one recently ….and it makes sense…all part of the word trickery…..up to you good though to do your own research and good luck with it all…like Morag said…well done on seeing it through..cheers
-
hey morag…watched the video thanks…i liked his explanation of the birth certificate ..and the placenta etc….one of the better explanations and helped me comprehend a little better….makes me think of the expression we are worth our weight in gold…anyway, my question was do you know anything more about the bloke who did the video..i think his name is Trevor John….cheers

well done….i was the same just kind of stumbled through it..thats the learning and growing !…dont know about the industry part …i dont think thats aproblem….they just need to tick a box….i think from memory i had a similar question and there was a option for “other” and she just ticked that! card sounds ok .. mine has my name on it and trust name. i did see in one of the q and a on trusts that mark said just the trustee name on card is fine…..anyway…well done

i could do both i suppose and have them both up my sleeve if ever needed…..the affidavit simply stating that i donated the assets. the deed just a record of details between donor and donee. both may be good to have on file
-
thanks for both replies….just trying to get it correct which i think i am…its all a learning curve..mark said that i could simply donate assets to trust..there no law against that….. i believe it is the affidavit document that states that this donation has occured. its basically just a record for my trust file in case i ever need it. thanks again

Hey Ant, …so if the mother is the grantor of the deed….does she still have power at any time to reclaim it (assuming she is still living…otherwise, as you mentioned next step is you to become grantor? ..note i suppose that depends if the trust is revocable or irrevocable? Assuming she is still living. mmgetting in a knot here …I am def going to check out vic beck. thanks again for all yr replies!!

thanks for reply…i am still wrapping my head around all of this. Am i along the right lines…the CQV trust is the one that is set up when your birth is registered. you (the living being) is used as collatoral…i.e. they use our share of the earths wealth that we are entitled to to mint some dollars. all bills (electricity/phone etc) could be and are settled using the estate account but then they are also paid by us. they make us think that we are the trustee, but really we are the beneficiery? when we die, they balance any books and skim the balance of the trust…????? as said, still trying to grasp it…apparently, the bonds are traded. am i anywhere close…how would you articulate it? thanks
-
thats interesting…the photo u attached….did it work? cheers

hello MJ of H family. thank you so much for sending me that pdf….it was so much help….when asked what the trust was going to be used for i said asset protection which is what it will be…..but all the info in the pdf was v comforting to have in my back pocket in case i needed it. the trust may be used for providing community services aswell, but i didnt mention that … i have to say the lady in the bank was v friendly and although had to ask me a few questions seemed to be happy with my responses…as long as they can get the boxes ticked they seem to be ok…couple of times, she just had to tick “other” when the answer i gave didnt match anything the banks options gave! it got approved within 2 days…just waiting for card to come through now. I didnt give TFN….i could have, but there was an option not to, so i picked that….thinking had there have been an issue with the verfification team, i would have given it…..
just as general advice to anyone..i aired on the side of caution with my answers each time and gave minimal info, but at the same time one has to be friendly and create a good relationship with bank ….they are not out to get us…they just have a job to do and must do their due diligence… anyway, thanks to everyone for their answers..u have helped me immensely…give yourself a pat on the back! …..its all an unfolding experience and one has to get out of ones comfort zone…as u say morag..see it as a research project…..thanks to all agin and have a lovely weekend…

thats it….acting in roles…i.e. its not real.they are just men and women acting in roles…like when a former prime minister or person of “status” gets interviewed and gets introduced ..for example, something like…name….in your role as prime minister…in your role as immigration minister etc etc….they are just acting in roles….and they play the part very well and everyone believes the shite that they spew. if you watch what they say it is empty and all, i should say most of them, no matter what the country, spout the same lines..like puppets. cheers
-
no probs credit where credit is due….still waiting to hear a response from the team….next week could be the week!
