can police trespass for a warrant
Hi, i have a situation, wondering about any suggestions for it.
I have some fines i have done the 3 step process with. i have also elected to go to court for them. i have just learned that there is a warrant out for my arrest because they cannot deliver a summons to me. The reason is we have a gated front with no trespassing sign from this site.
The officer told my husband on the phone that i need to go to their station so he can arrest me and then give me my summons. He is giving me 1 week to do that or he will come on our property to arrest. Also, he told my husband there are summons that need to be delivered to him, as well. So what to do now or in the future? He said it needs to be delivered in person, not mail.
Could i offer to meet at our property line to receive the summons?
i don’t have experience with this, obviously. Any suggestions are appreciated!

I realize why the police are not coming onto our property, because on our sign it states we reserve the right to deny entry when failing to provide a crown warrant. Is a warrant from a magistrate a crown warrant? i think not.

One more suggestion maybe go and stay somewhere else until you have your answer on how to deal with this (tonight at the webinar) if you don’t have a plan? Don’t take you cellphone if you don’t want them to track you. They can ping it to find out where you are, maybe get a burner phone or use some one else’s?
