Child care for pro choice
Hello,
We are currently witnessing several private nanny services/home child cares being closed down and all of the local pro choice families are loosing care options for their children..
Closed with heavy threats from department of education on the premise that nanny share care is only allowed 2 families and also for not being registered child care providers
We have since learned that ‘creche’ are not under depo of education jurisdiction.. however we are unable to find any laws/requirements around running a creche, running it from home, if there is a given body or any restrictions around hours etc
Would anyone have any knowledge around this? Has anyone else found an alternate way to keep pro choice child minding facilities open?

it sounds like it would need to be a private organisation with no advertising publicly to ensure the ‘authorities’ have no jurisdiction. Thank you! Yes they are run privately without advertising.. all word of mouth.. but people are reporting them, be it neighbours of disgruntled ex staff.. so trying to navigate to be totally out of depo of educations jurisdiction
