Why mail the ABRS if ‘notice to agent is notice to principal'?
The modified directors ID instructions now say to mail the ABRS as well. At the top of the ‘Notice of Conditional Acceptance’ we state the universal maxim — ‘notice to agent is notice to principal and notice to principal is notice to agent’. All addressed parties Jointly and Severally as well as their Successors, Nominees and assigns. —
Is not ASIC an agent for the ABRS?

I think the maxim only applies to the agents within the organisation you are sending the Notices to, but some one please correct me if I am wrong.
