UPDATE: apparently I spoke too soon, as I called the cop and he informed me that he hasn’t dropped the matter… and yesterday they came and banged on the front door here (scaring the shit out of my poor mother).
What measures should I take at this stage?
And does anybody have a great ‘no trespass sign’ template? I’ve attached 2 no trespass signs that I’ve got however they’ve got a focus on Common Law (and I’d much prefer to focus on Rules of Equity)

I agree. The situation is; my mother is divorcing my father (she caught him having an affair). My father owns nothing himself, but will inherit lots of money in the future as he’s the beneficiary of the trust of his rich Jewish parents. My father’s brother (lawyer) texted my mum with a divorce settlement offer of $300,000, which would come out of the money of my disgusting father’s rich Jewish parents.

My father has emotionally and financially abused my mother for years. I am thinking that if my mother expresses an intent to sue my father for domestic violence, the mere prospect of her potential intent to file a lawsuit against him will likely apply pressure onto my father’s Jewish family to make them willing to give her a divorce settlement amount higher than $300k.

What’s your thoughts on this situation? (would really appreciate your feedback as my mother will be responding to the offer today)
