Reply To Tom Barnett’s Critical Comments

Hi Folks,

It was brought to my attention by each of three people within the last 4 days that a former supporter of Solutions Empowerment and myself has just made a public announcement via Face Book to dissociate from me and Solutions Empowerment (SE) before proceeding with a dialogue of comments detrimental to both SE and myself.

I’m not certain what triggered the outburst, nor do I care. I find that having to reply to such calibre of people extremely distasteful, a distraction, and a huge waste of time and energy, as well as giving the party recognition they simply don’t deserve.

Tom B was formerly a strong supporter of myself and SE, after attending two workshops and applying what he learned to settle his own personal matters. He later in 2020 sought an interview from me, something I had till then refused many times from others as well as from Tom, but eventually relented to allow him to interview me, because he insisted the world needed to know the material I was teaching.

Sadly my ex’s ego gave rise to Tom B falling out with SE and myself and Tom B produced a defamatory Youtube in 2020 about me. I took no action against him by reason I teach to resolve matters privately and so approached Tom B privately in an attempt to resolve his issue. Tom’s ego prevented any resolution.

From his very distasteful and derogatory Youtube video arose a huge groundswell of replies from people seeking evidence from Tom of all his alleged false claims.

A friend, Jane, disclosed to me that she was aware Tom had done same, discredited several speakers in the freedom movement, before directing his attention against me, making her comment that she felt he was a paid shrill, to expose freedom lovers as con men. She also pointed out Tom’s rolling eyes indicative of being high on elicit drugs while conducting his attack against SE and myself. 

In Tom’s latest attack against SE and myself, he claims; among many others, that;

1. I never offered to pay him, a blatant lie as not only did I pay him on the one outsourced job he did for me, I made twice an offer to him for the interview he did with me but my offers both times were refused!, and
2.  That he made me “a couple of million dollars”, more B/S, as the real figures, easily validated by my admin team, is about 100 of his followers became members of SE, at that time in 2020 a membership being $99AUD. Simple maths tells you $99 X 100 members is about $10,000! 

A far cry from “a couple of million dollars”!

There’s far more that could be said but public airing isn’t the solution. 

If Tom B was someone of stature, someone that was a high achiever, had many “scores on the board”, was genuinely in the field swinging the bat for individuals, rather than trumpeting around the country giving talks to freedom lovers, with nothing to show but a big mouth, I would go after him for defamation.

Sadly, Tom is a non achiever, has no big successes or settlements, hasn’t two bob to rub his hands together with, smokes around in an old banger and spends his time in talk fests. A loser who’s escape from his own reality is to smoke weed, get high and attack people who are achievers. Let’s leave such people to themselves, they are damaged people.

I don’t have the desire or inclination to waste my time on such people because they are unteachable. 

There are many far more deserving people who need either my personal time, experience, knowledge or access to same via my website.

Another member made the comment that I owed it to my members to disclose the party and their claims and to deliver a reply and answer so as to clear the air! My skin cringes at the thought. I don’t like public airing nor exposure, nor for I like or enjoy wasting my time on the underserving.

The only purpose in preparing this brief notice to the members of Solutions Empowerment is;

1. Make you aware there are those people about who attack the very people who are doing the work and aim to make a positive difference, and
2. To protect my good name of 26 years in this freedom movement industry as one of its founding pioneers, and
3. To make you aware there are not such honourable people even in the private realm, some of which have egos bigger than a barn door and quick to enact the “tall poppy syndrome’

Another good business friend, she having her own huge database of loyal followers in business circles, replied to Tom B’s comments on Face Book and openly confronted Tom’s false claims, finally causing Tom to ensnare himself in his own false claims, leaving Tom with no option to overcome the exposure of his untruths but to ban her from his FB page!

Sadly Tom’s followers follow blindly without questioning his diatribe. This appears to be commonplace amongst the general population, that ordinary folks seldom question or challenge the directions and claims coming from alleged “authority”. Most people remain asleep.

Would you not check out and validate or refute a claim rather than willy nilly accepting it, particularly when the target of defamation claims have been 26 years going? Any shonky conman gets exposed within the blink of an eye and seldom endures a year within the free man realm, let alone 26 years! That should already raise alarm bells against Tom’s claim wouldn’t it? That would be my method of reasoning, as a thinking man!

My humble apologies for bearing my bad linen folks. It’s extremely distasteful to me and is now behind.

Let’s move forward to make positive contributions in the lives we each touch.
