You could also try creating a private agreement with the lawyers. Thanks for this it’s nice to know some on in the US is looking out for strawman’s rights. There are some things we can solve ourselves, eg remove any smart meters, get ethernet instead of wifi, only use a smartphone for communication and stay off the internet, only use a computer for the internet and connect with ethernet and cover the camera. I realised that when my fellow townspeople were applying for no spray signs from the council that they were in fact giving the council permission to spray as it said in the agreement for the no spray signs that if the council accidentally sprayed then they could not be held accountable. So instead of applying for no spray signs we just put our own up on our property. I see something similar with the smart meter stuff he is talking about, he says that they can only surveil every 15 minutes if he wins this point in court, but in fact this is giving them permission to surveil is it not? Isn’t it better to take out the smart meter altogether and not have them surveil at all?

Hi Steven, this is correct it CAN work immediately with things such as parking meter fines (and I have one friend who used this method in the PDF successfully), however other matters can take a lot more work and an understanding of what to do if they take the matter to court in spite of an agreement being established. Learning how to address the judge and learning the fish hooks s/he will use and what questions to ask of the claimant alongside the agreement that has been established as well as learning how to hold one’s position (in a round table meeting as well) is something that needs to be studied and mastered as well in NZ. Aus and other commonwealth countries. If one has determination and is prepared to spend quality time and energy learning and applying then all of these skills can be mastered. Luckily there are webinars on here that teach how to do all of these things.

Did you have a 3 step notice with affidavit in place before you went to court and did you buy modules to help you with that process? Did you only ask questions when the police stopped you? Did you use a court script in court and only ask questions? What exactly happened in the police stop and in court. Did you record the interactions?

That’s my pleasure. People have varying success depending on many factors. The factors we can control are making sure we know how to competently hold our position and making sure we keep evidence of everything along the way eg any email offers, recording phone calls and using registered post along with a certificate of mailing. Also learning how to hold our position in ocurt just incase we are hauled in there. There are webinars and modules that teach how to do all of the above. I think the path you have decided to embark on is sound.

Hi Mioglio welcome. It is a steep learning curve and there are alternatives. To become competent in whatever you decide is the best path for you, you need to watch webinars and buy the modules associated with the webinar once you have got your head around the information in the webinar. Also you need to know how to competently hold your position with whatever method you choose so it is important to watch the webinar on holding ones position. If you want to discharge the debt then I suggest you start with challenging smaller matters first eg parking tickets. In this way you will be dealing with something that it won’t matter if at first you don’t get it over the line. Once you can competently deal with small matters then move on to something a little more challenging. In this way you will slowly learn and learn well. It can be likened to your first experience of learning how to walk as a toddler, a bit of trial and error at first.
